In Zen Buddhism means the experience of
awakening ("enlightenment") or apprehension of the true nature of reality. It’s a moment of not thinking and deep rest and peace of mind. And this bed design was inspired by this and the “Arts and Crafts movement” by elevating craft into timeless artistry. The crafting process is a form of art itself. It begins with selecting the finest materials, followed by meticulous planning and execution. The art of metalworking is also integral part of the bed. In this piece of art, I tried to blend traditional techniques with modern innovation, crafting pieces that are both elegant and extremely detailed. The base of the bed is characterized by a contrast due to the meeting of the soft backrest with the linearity of the base. The large volume and light legs naturally support this welcoming bed with harmonious shapes.
